Casa Aracari is a 2 bedroom house with one of the most stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and rain forest in all of Ojochal. Situated at the top of a hill in a gated community , it is about 700 ft above sea level. Built on steel and concrete pillars, the living areas of the house are all on the second floor which allows you to look down on the birds flying and even into their nests. The sounds of nature totally surround you.

The tiled outside patio overlooks Casa Aracari's very large garden. From the patio, a front door leads you in to a living room and kitchen area. The kitchen has a built in breakfast bar with stools, a 4 burner electric stove/oven , a single door fridge/freezer and a microwave built into wooden wall shelving. To the left of the front door after entering there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The Stunning View Bedroom with windows to the 200 degree Pacific view and rain forest valley literally directly below you; the full bathroom and the second bedroom which has room for a Queen bed and a single bed and has views of the virgin rain forest valley right below. Although originally built as a guest house, Casa Aracari was wired for possible expansion as it has a large ground floor area under the patio/living room that could be walled in and used as a third bedroom, an office or exercise room or laundry room. The laundry is currently done in the open area underneath the house which has a concrete floor and a laundry sized basin with hot and cold water.

The house also has a fiber optic cable junction box less than 30 feet away so super high speed internet is available if needed. Otherwise internet can either come wirelessly from the ICE tower which is in direct sight 2 km away and has a 5 bar signal, or from Skyfiber, using a small dish.

The gardens have everything from various flowers to mature banana, coconut and lemon trees. For the scarlet macaws that land within 30 ft of the balcony there are mature almond trees for them to feed on.

There is also plenty of room to put in a swimming pool 20 feet away from the house & even room to dramatically expand the house or even build another house on the very large lot . Soil testing has been done to confirm the soil is good for building a pool and another house.

Ojochal is renowned as the best culinary village in all of Costa Rica and the village has its own free-to-use library, soccer pitch and community hall where the farmers bring their fresh produce every week.

The owners had planned to build a large outside patio all around the house plus a pool, but physical health issues have made them decide to sell.
