História:
A paróquia do Cabril foi Bispado da Guarda até 4 de Setembro de 1882, data em que passou a pertencer ao Bispado de Coimbra.

A sua economia foi baseada durante muitos anos na produção de castanha e algum milho, cultivado nos terrenos junto às margens do rio Unhais que atravessa esta freguesia.

Igreja Paroquial - De construção recente, alberga no seu interior a imagem de S. Domingos, proveniente de uma antiga capela, datada do séc. XVI - XVII.
