Perched on the side of ridge, the home is accessed via a gangway which seemingly transports you into a magical world. The lumber finish, wall-sized jungle murals and an actual tree growing through the house create the impression that you did not step in a structure but rather entered into some sort of portal that hovers between civilization and wilderness. Up front a large, covered deck allows total relaxation and communion with nature – you are literally in the midst of the most biodiverse place in the world! As a bonus, another deck is located below the structure and gives an even more serene space for relaxation and contemplation. Sitting below the house, this second deck is also protected from rain.

The house features an open, lofty design with a kitchen, dining and lounge combined to create an airy and bright space. A loft bedroom hovers above while the master bedroom is self-contained. Numerous windows, openings and skylights, combined with the woody finish and warm decorations, blur the line between civilization and wilderness!
