LaVern Sanford is excited to be with Century 21 Homestar and is located in Akron, Ohio. She has worked for the State of Ohio, particularly with the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, for almost 14 years. Lavern holds over 6 years of property management experience, to include tax credit housing experience, as well as lease purchase program experience with the East Akron Neighborhood Development Corp. for a total of almost 20 years of housing experience.
Born in Akron, LaVern comes from a military background. After experiencing a well-traveled childhood as a military brat, living in places from Texas to Germany, LaVern went on to graduate with several degrees from the University of Akron including an Associate of Applied Business in Business Management Technology and a Bachelor of Science. She now has a family of her own with husband and 10-year-old daughter. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, going camping and reading.
