PERSONAL LIFE As the oldest of nine, I was born and raised in the small town of New England, North Dakota. I spent many years helping my dad on the farm doing everything from summer fallowing 14 hour days (back when that was cool) to fixing the combines and driving truck. After high school I studied abroad in Mexico. I attended NDSU where I ran track, supervised computer consultants and in 2000 graduated with a degree in Spanish Education and a minor in Computer Science. I worked in software development for many years after I graduated, and later went back to grad. school to get my Master's in Business Administration.
