My name is Alfredo, but everyone calls me A.J. I was born and raised in Medford, Long Island and earned my bachelor's in K-12 Health and Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, followed by a master's in Public Health and Wellness Education from the American College of Education. I moved to D.C. in 2016 to begin my teaching career with DCPS, where I've taught Health and PE for the past ten years. A year into that journey, I met my future wife, and we've since settled in Rose Hill, Alexandria with our two kids, two dogs, and one beautifully chaotic household that always keeps us on our toes. Outside of teaching, I stay active in the wellness space, offering strength and endurance coaching for youth athletes, private tutoring in most subjects for students K–12, and custom fitness, nutrition and lifestyle planning and management for individuals and families of all ages and abilities. Real estate is a new chapter for me, and one I'm stepping into with energy, curiosity, a commitment to excellence and to building lasting relationships. I'm passionate about networking, learning what makes people tick and helping people find spaces where they can thrive, whether that's a first home, a new investment, or a fresh start. In my downtime, you'll find me with my kids, on two wheels, under the hood of a car, cooking, or indulging my love of motorsport, watches, and exercise. I'm excited to bring my passion for people, problem-solving, and progress to this new career, and I look forward to connecting with you!
